NOPD looking for suspect caught on video in armed robbery

NEW ORLEANS, La – The New Orleans Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding a suspect wanted for an armed robbery Saturday night, said police spokesman Officer Garry Flot.
Flot said an armed, masked suspect entered the business in the 1600 block of Louisiana Avenue at 7:50 p.m., pointing a blue steel handgun at the cashier and demanding money.
The employees did as requested, and the suspect fled the scene on foot with an unknown amount of money, said Flot.
The suspect is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall, and wearing a gray hooded sweat shirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.
Investigators are in the process of gathering evidence and information to identify the suspect involved in the robbery.
